ASCLS Volunteer Opportunities

Membership Committee

ASCLS-Oregon is looking for members that would like to aid in membership efforts related to recruitment and retention. Volunteers can participate in a variety of ways!

Video Interview:

  • Volunteers will participate in a short video interview where they will answer a variety of questions designed to help others understand what ASCLS does and why ASCLS is important to the laboratory profession. Additional questions will be more personalized to allow others to know what you love most about medical laboratory science and what you're geeking out about with your fellow laboratorians.

Campaigning Committee:

  • Committee Members: Several volunteers that are willing to reach out to previously enrolled members to remind them that it is time to renew their membership.
    • Membership out-reach efforts will include following up at the end of the campaign with individuals that have chosen not to renew their membership to find out why.
