We are seeking judges to assist in reviewing and scoring entries for the 2024 ASCLS Awards Program. ASCLS Awards recognize members who devote their time and efforts to make this Society work at state, regional, and national levels. The judge application period opens January 15 and closes February 15.
Judges will review the applications/nominations for one or two of the following ASCLS Awards:
- Ascending Professional Leadership Award
- Developing Professional Leadership Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- State Society Website Award
- State Society Publications Award (for both print and web-based publications)
- Scientific Research Award
- Theriot Award (for media and equipment development)

Award applications/nominations are evaluated in each category based on established criteria with scoring rubrics. Judges will receive their assignments by the end of February. All award application/nomination materials and judging instructions will be distributed in early March. The deadline to return the completed scoring is April 1.
Serving as an awards judge is a wonderful opportunity to get an inside look at the outstanding work of ASCLS members and constituent societies. Judges will be recognized for their contributions to the ASCLS Awards Program at the Awards Ceremony at the 2024 ASCLS, AGT & SAFMLS Joint Annual Meeting on July 10 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
