Dear Laboratory Professionals and Medical Directors,
Are you a manager/supervisor or medical director for a Transfusion Service in a hospital setting? We are writing to ask that you participate in a survey that collects information about your Massive Transfusion Protocol for Obstetric Patients. We hope to gain insight into the implementation and components of Massive Transfusion Protocols for obstetric hemorrhage across United States hospitals. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary.
To participate, you should complete the online survey in the link at the end of this message. Completion of the online survey should take no longer than 15 minutes. You are free to answer or not answer any particular question and have no obligation to complete the survey once you begin. The data you provide will be confidential. All data obtained in this study will be reported as group data. No individual or facility will be identified. We plan on publishing the results of this research as well as communicating these results at professional meetings. The only persons who will have access to these data will be members of the study team.
