Alexa Miller is one of SIDM's 2018-2019 Fellows in Diagnostic Excellence, and the founder and Consultant in Arts and Clinical Learning, Arts Practica. She is investigating the learning opportunities at the intersection of art-viewing and masterful management of clinical uncertainty alongside her mentor, Leslie Fall, MD, Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine, and leading expert in medical education.
Alexa will be discussing her fellowship project, an evidence-based course designed to transform clinician response to uncertainty, "Looking with Uncertainty: Inquiries Into Visual Art, Practices for Good Medicine."
